Breathing is not an option right now.

Seeing midnight releases of movies beats everything else. All the college kids are drunk, everyone is happy, and everyone is interested in what you're interested in - watching the movie. People laugh and say things out loud and dress up - it's just amazing.

Yes, I'm talking about Harry Potter. Merlin's beard.

Thoughts under the cut.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- The opening scenes after Scrimgeour were amazing. The parallelism between Harry, Ron, and Hermione leaving home was brilliant. I especially loved Hermione's - her vanishing from the pictures was so heartbreaking.

- Back to Scrimgeour - dude, I totally didn't realize it before, but he is totally Davy Jones from POTC! I mean, I already knew he was, but I'd thought that he would talk differently or something...

- Um. Alan Rickman's wig is amazing. I can has?

- Lucius seems so much hotter now after seeing AVPS. As does Xeno. Okay, I have a thing for long blonde wigs. *is weird* But anyway, Rhys Ifans is totally sexy even without the blonde hair.

- 1st complaint - WTF WHY NO REMUS/TONKS MARRIAGE/BABY???? I guess they'll do it in part 2, but Tonks was SO CLOSE to mentioning it but then Moody was all moody and yelled at her to shut up. Rawr. THAT is why you died, smartass. :P

- K, so they changed the whole thing about the DEs recognizing Harry because he Stupified Stan, aka using his signature move. Instead... they blamed Hedwig? Ooookay.

- THE SEVEN HARRYS PART WAS AMAZING. I lovelovelove how Dan actually stripped for that.

- Ginny. I was not a fan of their relationship in HBP just because it was like blah. but in DH... I am really glad that they didn't end up breaking up. And I loved it when George walked in on them kissing and was staring at Harry. This is why I love the Weasleys.

- Weddings? I love weddings! Drinks all around! And this one was no different. Although... really, I understand that Polyjuice Potion is a pain in the ass to use, directorationally (new word!) but anybody totally could've said that Harry was at the Burrow... (same for in Godric's Hollow, but at least Harry explained there.)

- I actually really liked the camping scenes because the nature was so pretty. <3

- Rupert was amazing. He has the best lines.

- Neville = also amazing. "Go away losers, he's not here!" Awww.

- K, so the Ministry part was a bit wrong... like, Harry didn't out himself to Umbridge, but whatever. Oh, and the guy who played Runcorn was hawt. As was Reg. :D

- Harmony dancing was so cute! Dan is so awkward. I love him.

- Godric's Hollow was INSANE. I knew the whole snake thing was gonna happen, but I just... it was so hard to imagine while reading. At first I had thought that a sword had a appeared in Bathilda, but no, it was just Nagini. But Nagini kept striking!!! And every time she did, I cowered a bit more in my Gryffindor scarf. :P

- Harry got naked AGAIN for the lake scene. Yussssssss. I approve. And the Horcrux scene was also pretty scary. Harry and Hermione looked like aliens.

- The Tale of Three Brothers scene was brilliant. Animation? Um, yes. Beautiful. And Emma's voice-over was awesome.

- Malfoy Manor... holy crap. Just. Omg. (But no Dean???) So anyway, Dobby was the best part, I think. "You can really get us out of here?" "Duh. I'm an elf."

- WTF BELLATRIX IS A SICK BITCH. I HATE HER SFM.

- I didn't cry when Dobby died, but... it's still so emotional for me. I'm a promoter of anti-bias, and I was thinking, Dobby is so much more than just someone's who's loyal to Harry. He was an elf who fought for his rights even though everyone else said that he should just be compliant. He's a free-thinker. He said outright to Bellatrix that he had no master. It's just... very important. And then "Dobby is happy. Dobby is with his friends." I understand why he had to die, but I hope he wasn't a martyr for no reason.

- The ending was... interesting. Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but didn't Voldemort go to Hogwarts way later in the book? Like, right when the Battle at Hogwarts was starting? Doesn't that mean that they're skipping parts? At first I thought they might skip Gringotts, but I know they won't because of them showing Bella's hair float down and also, they showed the dragon in one of the trailers. So yeah. That was just kind of confusing.

- This movie showed that you can have a dramatic movie that's nicely balanced with a few incredibly funny scenes, instead of HBP with its constant not-as-funny scenes.

K off to bed now. I kinda have to wake up in 3 hours. :/

omgomgomg, deathly hallows
