Sorry I've been really super boring on here lately. I don't want to update because I might scratch the surface of how I'm feeling and then I'd shatter my carefully constructed facade and my emotions will come pouring out. And nobody would want that, I assure you.
I've been having some internal struggles lately.
Also I've been stressing about moving in and stuff.
My weekend in Gainesville was FANTABULOUS and I should probably record some of it for posterity.
Thursday- arrive around 3:30. We head straight for Cam's... he's not home. We try to figure out which window it is that you can open from the outside. We fail. We try to go to Salty Dog to hang out... fail, because I'm still a baby. So we hang out at the Swamp until 5:30 or so. Then James & Gayle head back to James' to take a nap, I have dinner plans at 6:30- guess where? The Swamp, lol. I meet up with Maria, Jessica, Megan, Cory, and Megan's friend Chrissy. It was really nice and I was glad to be able to hang out with a couple of my sisters. Then Jessica and Maria and I go to Sweet Dreams, cuz Lexie's working there. We get delicious ice cream. Also getting delicious ice cream is Bernie Machen, the man himself, lol. So good times, then Jessica drops me back off at James's. James, Gayle and I pick up a 12 pack and play a drinking game to Robin Hood: Men in Tights. LOL A LOT. Good times. Thennnn since I'm CLEARLY not going to sleep there hahaha, Teresa picks me up and we go to her (Erin's) apt at Jefferson 2nd. We (plus Zach) play Mario Kart and Goldeneye and I fail miserably, blaming it on the 4 beers lol. I blow up the air mattress and get comfy on her living room floor for the night.
Friday- Gayle picks me up at 12 and we get lunch at the mall. We shop around a bit, and our haircuts occur at 1:30. I'm sitting in the chair, talking to Kyle about my hair... all of a sudden I'm like you know what? I hate it. Chop it off. No, not exactly like that, but he's like it would look really good just below your shoulders. And I'm like go for it. I'm over the long hair hahaha. So he does it and it looks adorable, but I'm still getting used to it. My hair hasn't been this short in years. I was growing (no pun intended) quite attached to my hair. But it's ok, i like it. It's easier, lol. Then Gayle & I shop some more... I spend $40 at Victoria's Secret (which SUCKS cuz when i came home I had a coupon waiting for me... $10 off a purchase of $35 or more! dammit) and we get Starbucks. Then we head back to James's around 4 or 5. Then James & Joe show up, 4 loko in hand. We split 2, and then head to Cam's around 5 or 6, where we hang out some more and drink more 4 loko lol. Then we (minus Cam) head to Satchel's at 6 or 6:30. We meet up with Cara & Kjamie (lol) and 2 of Gayle's friends. The pizza was delicious, and Joe was drunk. Apparently he drank more 4 loko than anyone else. "Do you like Journey?" "No." "I'm going to have to ask you to leave." "He likes Bon Jovi though!" "No I don't." "Jamie, I'm trying to help you!" Haha. Soooo yeah, after Satchels we go back to Cam's and drink. We started at like 9 or 9:30, so I actually peaced out at 12:30, which was a decently long time, but still very early. I didn't get that drunk, which was good, I remembered the whole night. It was good.
Saturday: Head over to Cam's about noon. Went to lunch with Cam, Joe, James, Jeff, and Carolyn at Copper Monkey. They want to go to Salty Dog, which is OK with me, because I have Kali's pool party. So they do that, and Erin picks me up at 4 and we head to the Estates. I'm super glad Kali had her party that weekend, because it was really nice to hang out with some sisters and music people and whatnot. I basically sat around the pool and talked with Erin, Shelby, Amanda, and Lauren. It was great. Then at 6, Erin dropped me off at Gator's Dockside. Dinner there with Joe, Gayle, James, Nicola, Carolyn, Cam, Drew, Sarah, Brittany, Kirsten, Matt, & 2 of Kirsten/Brittany's counselor friends. Good times were had by all. Drew was quite drunk/ridiculous/loud. It was actually the first time I've met him. He's everything I thought he would be lol. So then we go to Cam's. Party starts around 10. The girls split a bottle of something delicious and dragonfruit flavored, whatever the hell dragonfruit is. Unfortunately, later that night, I open the freezer and it literally just falls out and shatters all over the floor. Which sucked balls and was totally not my fault, but I felt bad anyway. What a tragedy. Anyway, it was awesome superpartytime and I definitely blacked out. I still don't know everything that went down lol.
Sunday: I woke up at 9 on Cam's pull out couch. It's really kind of jarring waking up somewhere and not remembering getting there lol. Soooo yeah. Joe left around noon I guess. Parting is such sweet sorrow. I was sad to see him go, it went by so fast. Then I went to lunch with Erin around 1 at Tijuana Flats. Then I couldn't get ahold of Jayle, I didn't know what time we were peacing out. So I hung out at Erin's apartment for a couple hours, shenanigans ensued hahahhaa. Erin dropped me off at James's around 4, and Jayle was packing up the apt. Then we left at like 5 or whatever. We got back to Boca around 9:30.
