and then there was one...
This weekend saw the untimely demise of one of my last two remaining Koi :(
The other one nearly joined his fellow tank-mate as well. I was certain he wouldn't last the night after a 100% water change with 3% salt solution had failed to save his partner.
Still, nature has it's own ways of fighting back, and by the morning he was looking positively perky in comparison.
So, the last remaining one is one of the original three I started out with. He's possibly the most hardcore fish I have encountered, having survived various overfeeding accidents as well as being boxed and moved to Sweden!
Long may he splash his little fins.
