In This Moment, We Are Together
And in one moment, we were here, together, as the universe had intended.
That's actually not a line or a quote from anything, besides, well, I guess this blog.
This post was inspired by a band breaking up. Allo Darlin' to be exact.
I ended up thinking about when I saw them live, in a little bar, with a friend who had to drive over an hour to get to the city.
That for one moment, we were all together. That the people in the room, for one moment.
I'm thinking more grandiose of the people I've met in random places, like concerts.
Damn, I think the thought is now escaping me. I was thinking it was more romantic. But maybe that's part of the beauty of two people meeting randomly, at one place. It is special, that for a moment, you were meant to be together.
In the crowd, listening to the same music, maybe even mouthing the same words.
You were both there, in the moment.
