The odometer rolls over again
So another click on the odometer, another birthday, another year for me.
It's been an interesting year to say the least. I've got my first job in radio, I "made it in radio", then landed my next gig within a week at a place I love to be. I went on my first date in years, and unbeknownst to me, it was a lot better than most people do. I got a new car, and did my first road trip in it. Tons of music, a semi binge with 8 concerts to close out the year (Matt Good, Tech N9ne, Jungle, Charli XCX, Alexz Johnson, Allo Darlin', Moist and Distant World from Sept to now). Oh yeah, I went to the Winter Classic, but that was way in the beginning of the year, but that was awesome with awesome company.
But really, what I'm most happy about this year is what has happened with those around me. My radio peeps are amazing, IB and KS landing and staying with the Corp, JR moving on up to mornings, LS joining him, LA getting back on air and digging in at Kelownifornia, MG killing it up North, DA landing in VanCity, SL making them laugh in MTL for over a year, MB and CR getting on air with traffic, PS getting his gig in Toronto, JS getting his break in production, his girl getting in with hockey, and NL hooking up QM in a time of need. Amazing. Oh yeah, our teacher LR moved up to GM, double amazing! I'm prob missing stuff too, these guys are great, love them to bits, can't say that enough.
And my sister is expecting (eeeeeeeeeeeee!)
Who knows what next year will bring?
