ZOMG.

My hope for mankind is not quite lost.

I am so participating in that. For once, I'll have an excuse other than my own OCD-ness to politely but determinedly rag on people to use proper grammar.

*dances*

Also:
-- Rudy Guliani finally dropped out of the race. Praise Jesus.
--The LOST screencapped season finale tonight was made of epic win. "Jack seems to be upset."  "It's HARLEY! And he brought beer!"
I don't even really like this show (it creeps me out, ok?) and it amused me. The screencaps, despite their wonderful snarkiness, were also quite helpful, considering I've only seen the first season and a few episodes of season two.
--I am completely in love with Friday Night Lights. Seriously, how many favorite shows can one girl get?
--I've been meaning to rec this for awhile: Kindred, by Rayless Night.  What makes us human? What do we owe to the ones we love? How can you trust yourself to find the answers? Important questions that circumstances inevitably force Fleur Delacour to answer. PG-13, Bill/Fleur, mentions of other canon pairings.  This is a truly amazing piece of Harry Potter fanfiction--well written, original, with wonderful OCs and a great take on Fleur I've never seen before. It's long and not complete, but it's updated frequently and is well worth the read. Part of the appeal is that it feels like reading another Harry Potter book, only this time, we see things from Fleur's eyes. There's also an absolutely lovely backstory on her Veela heritage, and on the Veela themselves for that matter...it's all described so vividly and candidly. Really, if you're a Harry Potter fan at all, no matter who you ship or who your favorite character is, I can guarantee you'll take something away from this. I highly reccommend it.

Andddd now I'm going to go to sleep. Because I'm exhausted. xD
