So tonight, care of my brother, I received two tickets to the Canucks - Edmonton game, which even though the outcome was undesierable, I still rather enjoyed. However, my dad did point out that I don't have a good track record in going to games - the first time was against Calagary where we lost 2-1, and about ten years later I still haven't learned my lesson! Anyway, I took a bunch of pictures of the game, so I'll share them with you.
The fist picture is a picture of the best part of this game, the ladies who clean the ice during the commercial break, and specifically this one who I deem to be my future baby's mother.
Here we have some good pressure in front of their net. That's about all we got in front of their net, pressure. Nothing ever came of it though...
A faceoff in their zone. We lacked alot of faceoff finess this game.
A shot on goal. Had alot of those... 36-18 in favour of us. Fine and dandy, except they had four go in, and we had zilch.
Some more pressure...
This was after we knocked Roloson's helmet off. Sucker.
About this point in the second period the players started to fall asleep. I'd like to get payed a million dollars to sleep!
This picture confused me for a while, because it looked like I aborted the shot mid-shot...
And then I realized that it was my attempt at covertly taking a picture of the hot ladies sitting in front of me. I just failed at it pretty bad... oh well!
So that was pretty much it. I guess we'll always have Paris...
In other news, I get to be a Wise Guy for Hometown! How exciting is that? I hope I get to be the red king... blue I could deal with. Purple is just gay.
