I Mourn
Well I'll start this blog off with sad news, so that I can hopefully still end on a high note. Today while I was at work, I found out that my great-grandpa George passed away last night...
I wish I had known him better.
He lived about 95 years, just long enough to become a great-great-grandparent, which is an admerable feat by any standards, and I know he was really happy about that. I haven't talked much to my family yet... so I don't know so much what's going on.
Dangit, I had a whole bunch of happy things to write about, and now I can't remember them. Weird, well maybe they'll come to me later. Heh, Devon came in this morning with little Cadance again to visit, and she always brightens up my day. Then Cadance got her hands on a pair of glasses and within a blink of an eye, twisted them out of shape. Ahhh kids are great... gave me about a half an hour's worth of distraction trying to bend them back into shape.
Between Brandon and Cadance, I'm about ready to do anything for a kid of my own. And before you point out the obvious, yes, a wife too. First, no less... lol.
