China or bust
It's been a busy week. I can't believe I leave for China on Thursday morning. I really haven't had time to appreciate the excitement of planning for a monthlong trip because I've been too busy studying, researching and writing my stupid papers, argh!!!! I'll be so happy to never have to write another fricken paper again in my life. Seriously. I mean who makes a paper due the night before you leave for classes in China? Dumb business Dean. Anyways, I spent all last week reading journal articles, all yesterday finishing up reading the journal articles and all day today, from 11 - 8:30 writing the stupid paper. When will I have time to research what to do in China??
Last night, I did decide to take a break and see if all of my stuff would fit in my suitcase and lo and behold, it does. Amazing. I can't wait to shop shop shop. This is the first international trip where I haven't had a chance to google and research where the heck I'm going and what I can do when I get there. The first two weeks will be for school and the last two weeks will be on our own and honestly, I have no clue what to do. I've also been too stressed out with school to care. I just can't wait to leave work for a whole month!!! hallelujah.
I am scared about the hot and humid weather in China and Singapore though. Jeez, how can people stand it? I hate the cold weather here in the winter but I'd rather take that than the humidity. If I had it my way, I'd rather go in the winter but alas, the world doesn't run on what I think.
