Old Acquaintances

Adam's one night stands stayed where he wanted them to - in the past. He admittedly slept with girls, usually without revealing names or specifics, but he believed in the free expression of it all. He never slept with women without feeling at least the smallest amount of feeling for her. And he never slept with girls who he wouldn't consider dating. But, either way, in the mornings, both went their separate ways; the girl had a story to tell her friends, and Adam's drive was satiated for a short while. It was rare that they ever ran into each other again, even if he and the band played a city on more than one occasion.

Not this time.

While playing a show at the Knitting Factory in New York City, Adam had glanced out into the audience while singing "Makes Me Wonder." The crowd was responding to the music, moving together as one unit. Most of the time, Adam sang songs with his eyes closed, but, for whatever reason, he kept his eyes open the whole time during this song. As he looked out into the audience, he spotted a girl who was not only singing along to the lyrics, but was also looking at him in a way that told him she had seen him naked. Not only had she seen him naked, but she was hoping for an encore once the show was over.

Luckily, he was able to keep his focus on the music, despite the huge distraction of the girl whose eyes were now burning into his cock. He sent a visual signal over to Jesse, who was to his left and closer to the girl. Jesse's eyes followed Adam's silent instructions and spotted the girl of quiet mention. They both looked at each other, continuing to produce music and melodies, but their minds were obviously elsewhere.

The show ended two and a half hours later, with a very tired and sweaty Adam wiping his neck and forehead with a towel back stage. As he took a swig of water from his water bottle, a security guard approached him.

"There's a girl out there who refuses to leave. She says she knows you." Adam swallowed the water slowly, twisting the cap back onto the head. Without even the mention of a name, he knew who the guard was talking about. But did he want to do this again? The beauty of one-night stands was that it ended after that. That's why they were called "one-night stands," and not "four-night stands every three months in a given year."

Adam shook his head in reply to the guard's statement.

"I didn't know anyone at the show," he replied, walking away from the guard to the tour bus.
