UNLEASH ME!
I cannot WAIT to see this movie.
I'm breathing heavily and drooling in immense anticipation of watching Jet Li kick some ass all up and down the screen. The last Hollywood film he did in which I really dug the fight scenes was Kiss of the Dragon. The plot was shaky at best, and Bridget Fonda is irritating as hell. But the rage Jet Li's character had in that last fight scene with the giant bleached out twins spoke to me in volumes. The man vibrated with rage and then broke blondie's neck. Aw, shit. I don't think anybody's ever reached out of a movie screen and said, "girl, I feel your pain" the way Jet Li did at that very moment. That's the only scene I ever watch from that movie repeatedly. And the fight scenes at the beginning in which he slaps the bad guys around with steaming irons in the laundry room is enjoyable. And of course that move he does with the red ball in the corner pocket to take out the dude that's trying to kill him is pretty sweet too.
And it is ALL about the fight scenes. I heard there's a little bit of mush in Unleashed and in the promo pictures there's even that girl trying to nibble on him. Don't need to see that! He's at his best whooping busloads of people. That's why. Not that I'd be jealous watching him kiss some girl on screen. Or anything.
