Music

Well, I do forget about music sometimes: how vital it is to my existence and how intertwined I feel with the complexities I hear. So listening to Bach, Vivaldi, and Chopin for my music class last night sent me again into a swirling appreciation of tones, transitions, tempo, and unity.

I ran up a hill yesterday without getting winded! That's something that you take for granted when you're a kid, or if you're someone who's athletic, but it was a major hurdle for me to jump. I am officially encouraged to keep at it.

Last night was filled with strange, uncomfortable dreams. I'm still deciding what any of it might mean. This is an instance where I'm inclined to think these dreams were a bunch of poppycock. Perhaps just a clusterfuck of unfruitful thoughts and experiences echoing in my unconcsious mind.

In any case, I'm continuing my music studying now, because it's enlightening and wonderful to wake up and immediately listen to incredible works of art moving through time. Soon is a lovely walk to get coffee with my mythology book, and I'll spend a block of time reading about hero psychology, sociology, and mythology. After that, I'll come home and put in Kill Bill vol.1 while I organize my living room. Then I'll work on algebra, and see how I feel from there. Sounds like a great day!
