Remember....
Twenty four years ago today, John Lennon was shot outside of his apartment and killed. The nut job who did this is still in prison as far as I know. May he rot and die in there.
If only that didn't happen. John Lennon....I can't even describe him. He was a great man and his music just blew me away.
I remember being little stealing Beatles cds from my mom's ex bf, and playing them over and over again in my room. I was such a geek. I was only about......eight and I didn't realize that The Beatles were broken up, and that John passed away. I was like, Man I want to meet these guys and see them in concert! I swear sometimes I was born in the wrong generation.
But I still sit and think about the what ifs. If John were still alive, what more could he have accomplished, and what could he do for the music industry. It's quite sad.
I got WAPL on right now, and they're playing Beatles and Lennon's solo stuff for three fucking hours. My stereo is cranked, and I'm good to go.
