Since I haven’t left the country since India last June and don’t currently have any plans to do so in the near future (particularly since my passport is expired), I have unconsciously been filling my travel need by having adventures near home. Sounds like such a lovely day.
We went into NYC on Saturday and took advantage of the spring day. Walked along the waterfront, through a park followed by a stroll through the Village and across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Sounds like you had a nice day! The daffodils are just stunning! I wish there were places to hike here in Dallas, but it's just too flat, and what trails there are are mostly paved.

You get more out of our region than anyone I know. I need to get back to the idea of going out hiking every weekend. I used to. Really. After "Fiddler" next weekend I'll put that on my list.

I think my appreciation for this area is heightened from not being particularly fond of other places I've lived. I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest when I first came out for my internship, and the sentiment remains. I hope you get to do a lot of beautiful hikes this summer! And I bought my Fiddler ticket... I will see you this Friday. :)
