What do I do now?

I'm not really certain what to do. I need some suggestions and advice.

Let me start at the beginning.

I got offered a job. This job would be in my field. It's right up my alley, in fact, since it's so very similar to what I used to do. I'm kind of worried that it's the same job. I know it's different in some respects, but I fear that it'll be the same result in the end.

They offered me about 5k less than I had wanted as the minimum salary. (Funny side note: When I first went back to get my 4 year degree, what they offered was what I considered to be my ideal start wage.) The benefits are also less than I would have liked.

I found out this was mostly due to the fact that the company is much smaller than I had first thought. They have only 70 people worldwide. They would only have 30 people here where I would work.

On the upside, I would get to travel to another country for training. I'd spend two months on the other side of the world. I really suspect most people would see that as a perk of the job, especially since there would be annual trips to the same place for follow-up training.

I'm just worried that it will be more of the same and there won't be much opportunity for advancement since it is such a small company. Another worry is that I have to deal with moving and then finding someone to care for my cat while I'm gone.

So much to consider.
