The Latest
Well, I haven't posted in a while. Here's the latest.
I went to the job interview I mentioned previously. It went really well. It went so well that I got offered the job on the spot. Sounds great, right?
Wrong.
I turned down the job.
It turned out that the job I'd been seeking was not the job for which I was interviewing. Normally that would not have been a big deal, but the fact that the rate they offered for pay was about half what I'd been seeking (and can potentially obtain in the correct job) really stuck in my craw.
Since then, I've had another phone interview (at a contract house) and was told my resume was being forwarded for the correct position. I hope to hear back something soon.
Another one I'm interested in would have me move out of the country for a while. I'm really intrigued by that one. Not too sure what to think, though, since one person there I've tried to contact has not yet responded.
I've also got to start making arrangements for my upcoming move.
My last class is underway. It's going by so quickly. I am enjoying it, though. I hope it keeps my interest since it'll only last about 3 1/2 weeks longer. Then I'll have completed the last class for my degree.
Not that I'm anxious about it or anything. No, not at all.
