* Woodworking Techniques Midterm: 93%
-------------
* Materials Trip Report: 5/5
* Wood Identification Test (Identify 22 different species of wood by sight/touch) 22/22! I actually asked "Really??!" when the teacher told me. Heh. =P Maybe the massive pounding headache I had after I did it (and most of the night last night) was worth it? =P
Between the above two, that's a full 20% of my mark... with another 30 coming next Monday on our second of three tests.
-------------
* Drafting Assignment: 4.5/5 - because I mismeasured. AGAIN.
-------------
* Shop Rules:
Y'know, we keep a general respect for people's property. You don't touch another guy's project or his tools without asking (or girl's and her as necessary). So when the one guy in our shop, Chris, had his piece of walnut (he paid for out of pocket) taken... There is great unrest. It was moved into a spot in the storage area, for some unknown reason. Someone screwing with his head, or hoping he wouldn't find it..?
No one is laughing. Just for the record. You don't f'n touch someone else's stuff. Especially their custom fit work. Stupid and insulting and moronic. We shouldn't have to bodyguard our tools or our project just so we can get a cut done on the table saw. Seriously f'n unfunny.
