(no subject)
Well, I won't tell you about everything that happened, but I will tell you that the reason I was missing from Wednesday to Friday was because I was on a spiritual retreat called the Encounter. In this retreat, we had to go to the Youth Center retreat house behind LaSalle high school. I sorta got lost, but I ended up finding my way. So, after getting out of my car and putting my suitcase inside, all 41 of us (all guys) went into the main room and the retreat started. Right from the start, we had to give up our cell phones, so I couldn't talk to anyone outside of the retreat house. Oh well. Anyways, we were told that whatever happens on the Encounter stays at the Encounter. But what I will tell you is that it was really good for me. I don't feel that I was touched by it as much as many of the others that attended, but I will admit that it was something that affected me in a very positive way. It also got me doing a LOT of thinking.
Well, I guess now that all that's over with, I'll start updating regularly again. Oh by the way, if you ever see me in public, chances are I'll be wearing this:
It's one of those "snappy" wristbands that were popular when I was in 4th grade. It was given to me as a promotional item advertising the new G-Unit G6 shoes by Reebok. I think the shoes are ugly, but I love that lil' snappy wristband! I could snap it on my wrist all day! Oh well, I'll probably do a real update in due time.
