Well, I haven't updated in a long time. Lemme give you a lil summary of my life so far. On Friday, we had our Semi-Regional game against the Southridge Spartans. I hardly played at all. I was kinda mad, but I didn't really care. I just feel cheated... I started for 5 games in a row, and I got substantial playtime in three others. That's 8 of 9 season games. After that, it was over. No more playtime for me. I was especially pissed because the person who started over me used to be good, but after his injury, he straight up sucks. In the game, I got in for a little in the second quarter. In my little time, I made a SICK ASS tackle in the backfield. I got up to high fives, congratulations, and the message that I was to be back on the sidelines. WTF?!? If I just did something so good, why the hell am I out? I was out for the rest of the game, except for like 2 plays at the end of the game. We lost the game 31-13. After congratulating the other team, and telling them all to whoop Killian's ass, Coach Merritt had all the seniors line up on the goalline and everyone lined up and said their final good byes to us. Most of the seniors were crying. Actually (not to be racial or anything), none of the black kids cried at all. Our attitude was more like "It was a good season and we had good times" instead of "I can't believe it's over." On the way home, one of our cornerbacks was freestyling, and that lightened the mood. Afterwards, we turned in our pads and went home.
On Saturday and Sunday, I was SO DAMN BORED. On Saturday, I was gonna go to Localpalooza, but lack of planning (and knowledge of the event) made me unable to go. I spent the day at home bored all night. Daphanie (the one from Face the Jury) came online and we talked for a bit. Our conversation consisted of many complaints about how bored we were. Eventually, we ended up talking on the phone, it was my first time hearing her voice. We talked for quite a bit, but my phone's batteries ran low and we got cut off. After putting my phone to recharge for a while, I ended up talking to
wigglyfrie on the phone, but the phone's batteries were still low, so that conversation was cut short, too. Damn phone! Anyways, after that I put my phone on the charger, stayed up for a little bit longer, then went to bed.
On Sunday, I did nothing once again. I went to church at 5:30. After mass, I was talking to two of my friends. We're talking about football and the game and all, and this girl comes by. I told her I saw her at the game, and she asked for my number. When I told her I was #99, she's like "Oh, the one that didn't play." My hatred for the coaches increased three-fold at that moment. That bothered me all day. The ditzy little girl didn't know a thing about football anyways. She's one of those that asks what inning it is in a football game. Grr, that pissed me off. Anyways, someone there asked me if I was gonna go to their youth group, and I'm like "yeah right." I went home and talked to a player on the team. I was telling him the story about what happened at church. He was like "that's f*cked up" (his favorite quote, lol) Then, I talked to Daphanie again... we talked until it was nearly midnight! It was nice talking to her, though.
Yesterday, I had an okay day. Nothing special happened throughout the school day. After school, I went home with a few football players. Getting home early was a new thing for me. I'm used to getting home at 7:00 to 7:30. Well, later that night, I was talking to one of the soccer players' ex-girlfriend. We're just friends, but I have a little thing for her friend. W/e, we'll see how that goes.
Today, was another unevenful day. I took a test in Accounting (very easy) and that was the only thing special that happened today. When I got home, I watched Love and Basketball. I liked it a lot. Umm, that's about it.
