Work Update

So I haven't posted in a while it seems! The other day at work (Tuesday), I dropped an empty pallet on my right foot and it is bruised. I am limping around like a wounded puppy. I have also been waking up depressed lately too. Not sure why but I believe that it's because my father's 3 year death anniversary is on Monday. Yesterday I had a conference call at work for the "Green Mission". I was pretty bummed out because I haven't had the time to concentrate on what I should be doing for it and all of the other stores are way above me in actions. As I am quietly sitting there on the line listening to the other stores discuss their actions, the Regional Safety Specialist, Bruce, says he is going to announce the winners of the raffle for a trip to Cali for Co-op America Green Business Conference. I was still bummed and was thinking "yeah, like i would ever be so lucky", and guess what I was the first name picked! I was so happy! I have been wanting to go to Cali so bad for so long now and my opportunity is finally coming! I am still waiting to hear the details but I know it is the beginning of November. I have the day off today so I am gonna chill w/ my Shann Shann! I am so happy! I feel like I haven't seen her in ages and I miss her ALOT! We are going to go to a park and catch some natural air from mother nature! After that it is off to Christina's house I go for dinner and hang out w/ some buddies like Christian and Chubbs.
