What's wrong with the modern world...
Today, Senny and I were in Borders browsing and I saw a mother and daughter in the store. The daughter picks up a book and shows it to her mother and says "I really like these books, may I have it?" The mother looks at her and says "If it's not less then $5 then no." The daughter responds with it's only $7.99." her mother repeats herself and adds, "You have all kinds of video games...." at that point I stopped listening as I was appalled. Here you have a girl, about 11 years old who wanted a BOOK! and it wasn't a crappy picture book it was a real decent one, and her mother was 'go play a video game'. What the fuck?!?! Am I the only one who thinks that this is screwed up? Grrr
