FNL; and Sushi at Village Sushi
Okay, first up, I've now watched the entire first season of Friday Night Lights. I really enjoyed it.. well, otherwise I probably wouldn't have watched it. I think that took up the majority of my Sunday (it was very lazy), except for the evening when Lianne and I walked to this really nice Sushi restaurant (as mentioned in a previous post), and I have some photos to post from it (only of the food, though the interior was nice, too, and you'll just have to take my word for it).

UW Campus
Monday I walked down to UW campus to meet Lianne after she finished work, and walked around (a small part of) the University of Washington campus. Quite a nice place, from what I saw. Following are some photos from Monday (and some others from today, when we went down there again for a bit a walk):

Monday evening we went for a walk around a park right near Lianne's house; again, more photos of trees and stuff, because I like that. (c:
EMP and SF Museum; the movie Terra; Dante's
Tuesday, we went downtown to the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum. Photography wasn't permitted mostly, so I have very few photos. There was an exhibit on Jimi Hendrix, also history on the evolution of the guitar, and other stuff. I probably would've appreciated it more if I was more of a musician-type. It was nevertheless still interesting, especially the hands-on type galleries where you could play music and hear the effects from using various effects pedals, and mixing music and things.
For us, the Science Fiction Museum was more interesting. I can't think of any specific things from there, but it was fun to look around.
After grabbing food, we saw a screening of an animated movie,
Terra. It was a decent little movie, but nothing ground-breaking. A little bit
anvilicious. That said, the director who was there for Q&A was fairly interesting, and spoke well.
Here's a blurry photo of a column of guitars, which actually plays music. There's some mechanism which plucks the strings on each guitar.
The Space Needle. It's right next to the EMPSFM.
And finally, after a little bit of wandering around because we weren't sure where the bus stop was we wanted to take a quick stroll, we caught the bus back and met couple of Lianne's friends at a bar, Dante's. Music wasn't really great, and we actually had to walk back to Lianne's, and then back again because I didn't have my passport on me, but it was still pleasant to sit around and have a few drinks.
