Spoils of War
During the Jericho demonstration, things went terribly wrong. The ensuing explosion killed several men and wounded Tony Stark. To prevent a piece of shrapnel from fatally piercing his heart, Tony replaced the crude electromagnet the ill-equipped Afghan hospital used with the miniaturised arc reactor made from the scraps of the Jericho missile. Upon returning home, Tony envision something that would, ultimately, make fighter jets all but obsolete: A weaponised, flying suit of armour.
Dirty Laundry
A small-time bankrobber gets his shot at the big-time when he's hired for a high-profile job. His employer's secretary sees something more than potential in his bold risk-taking and cavalier lifestyle. Could Anthony 'Iron Man' Stark be the Dillinger of his time? (This is an AU verse set in the 1930s. We're not necessarily going for historical accuracy here.)
Brave New World
In early February of 2010, Claire Bennet jumped off the top of a Ferris wheel on live television revealing the existence of "specials" to the world. This new revelation is not the only change to be seen in the world. The walls between dimensions have begun to blur and shift, occasionally depositing people into the world from others. This, as well as an increase in supernatural activity of all kinds is a sign of something only a few are fully aware of: the impending Apocalypse.
