When aerye and I first talked about setting up this recs LJ, we thought it would be just Due South. Then mondschein1 posted this story and, as a direct result, we agreed we needed to include six-degrees fic, too. (Which, um, doesn't explain at all why it's taken me so long to rec this. *shame*)

Duck/Dan, 1000 words, post-movie

It rings absolutely true to me, and is beautiful while being all breaky and ouchy. I'm not especially invested in the Duck/Dan relationship, but this made me care.
