Before I catch up on 11 pages of friends....

Just got back from helping my brother & his girl move into their new apartment/house in BOSTON...good times...sorta.

First me and moms drove to new york to help them pack up their brooklyn apartment. It's sad that they're moving because 1- the apartment was PHAT...in a serious way. 2- that place was my "home away from home" when I'm @ school. 3- I'm not gonna have any family in new york anymore :*( how depressing!!

So we help them pack up their last items on Wednesday nite & then Thursday morning their movers came to move everything out.

And um, so their movers? Nice. Verrrry nice. It was 4 Russians...or at least we think they were Russians...but they were sooo cute! And muscles? Yeah, they had plenty of those. There was this tv that I helped Kevin move in last year. I think it might have been like a 35" screen. And me & him struggled with it up the 4 flights of stairs. (Cuz their apartment had no elevator). Oh, and by the way, these stairs are long & STEEP. And then here comes the mover who carries it down on his BACK by HIMSELF. LOL.

Anyways, so the movers cost $2500 & then Kevin & Daniella gave them a $300 tip when we got to Boston. Yeah, someone remind me never to move.

Their new place is nice too. I think it might be closer to BC than BU. (He's starting law school @ BU.) We were able to get out and explore all day Saturday & Friday nite...but otherwise we were unpacking and cleaning.

I had to call-out for Friday & Saturday and I realllllly did not want to do that because I'm trying to save up money for when school starts & they hate when u call-out. Plus, I was away all last week in Tennessee & next weekend I have to go to Philly! Jeez I know they must hate me lol. I wonder if they believe that I'm actually out of town for all those days...not just fakin like alot of ppl do...but I'm a woman on the move, what can I say?

So the drive home from Boston to Maryland was like 7.5 hrs...and my mom wouldnt let me sleep because she needed me as her navigator out of Massachusettes (sp?). I feel like I'm always on the road! Last week I was in a bus for a total of 20 hrs...to & from TN. Now I'm here driving to NY & Boston and before I know it I'll be back in the car to go to Philly and then again to go back to school...I mean can I relax? lol

Ohhhh and can we talk about how my dad will not let me drive from MD to DELAWARE?? It's like a 90 minute drive. My friend lives in DE & we're all meeting there before we go to Philly. And my dad will not let me drive. He's making me take the GREYHOUND. As if I've only been driving for a couple months...brotha I've been on the road since I was 16! 3 years! AND I drive a stick so I think I should get extra points for that!! I might have to have a lil chat with him about this. I feel like a lil kid who can't cross the street!! ugh.

Ok I need to update more later but right now I feel like reading my Harry Potter book...it's the 1st one :X Yeah I know I'm late but better late than never!!
