It's been awhile.
gEeze, I havne't updated in so long, the page format for writing a new entry has completely changed.
Anyway, I don't know why I haven't updated in so long. -Actually...I do. I don't feel like I've accomplished much in the past year. I want to do so much, and I can't seem to get my ass into gear.
Hmm. What's happened since my last entry?
-First and foremost, I am still incredibly in love with my boyfriend Kevin, whom most of you have met by now. It's been a wonderful year 1/2. He makes me so happy! I received my drivers license in November, and my cosmetology license in December. I took 9 units in the Spring at City. (chem and math, going towards cosm. major) I still work at Biff's on Saturdays. GOD I've been there forEver, but it's an easy job that brings in some dough at the end of the month. I decided to take the summer off from school and just enjoy the sun, since I was in school or working all day 6 days out of the week last summer...and it's been great! Been relaxing, reading, got a nice tan, been working out A LOT. I got to spend the day alone with Madison havin' fun at Boomers. Lost a little over 10 pounds since my senior year in high school, and Ben's been helping me out at the gym recently to build some muscles. OH BABY! He's a great trainer. Just when you feel like giving up, he says somethin' to motivate you to keep on goin'. Being fit in itself has made me SO much happier. No more hiding in baggy Rusty t-shirts everyday.
It's GREAT to be able to put on ANYTHING in my closet, throw on some oversized earrings, slip on a cool pair of shoes, grab a purse (out of the pile of 'em), and leave the house feeling "FABulous," as Samantha would say. Most of all though, in the past year I think I've become so much more comfortable with myself, ya know, more relaxed...and I guess, confident.
I owe all that to my hard work at the gym, and most of all, Kevin. He makes me feel like it's okay -no, more than ok. Cool to just be me. HAha! Right! Nobody can get their dorks on together like we can!
So, I guess I hAve accomplished some things.
