"BEAKTIME!!"
I don't really feel like writing a journal entry, but I feel like typing. Know what I mean? Yeah, I didn't think you would. Surprise surprise. Oh, well. Anyway. Hmmm.
Emotionally, had some seriously rough days there a couple weeks ago, but what's done is done, and apparently with a few people in my life, it seems to be the better choice to just not be the best of friends. I can't do anything now but learn from my mistakes and try to be a better person. Recently, I've come much closer to learning the brutal truth about how most people function in relationships in our society, whether it be in mutual friendships, or something more intimate. It's frustrating, on many levels.
Moving on...
This week is my one week summer break. Monday I begin as a "Senior 2." FINALLY!! Haha! 9 more weeks, then I graduate and get my certificate. I sent in my pre-app so I'm just waiting patiently to receive my test date....I've got some serious studying to do. -But not this week! HA! Do you know how great it felt to finally go swimming the other day? To actually be outside, off of the City College campus, DURING THE DAY??!?! No, I don't think you do. It gets a little much sometimes, going to school 8hrs a day, 5 days a week, ya know.
It's been a pretty good break so far. M akin' some money, got some new clothes, went to City Fest (basically, a street fair in Hillcrest) and of course, got some new earrings and 5 new pairs of sunglasses..(yeah I know, a little bit of a splurge, but I'm happy:) I drove the truck up to Laguna Beach with my mom and went to the Sawdust Festival and got some more earrings, went to the movies a couple times, and Friday Kevin took the day off and we're gonna go to Wild Rivers! I'm SO excited. I love water parks. Spending the day outside, in the sun, goin' down water slides with the greatest guy in the world!! Can't get better than that!
I love my hair right now! It's black with a few teal streaks here and there. Short n' shaggy. Very rock star-ish. That's what a lot of people say, anyway. Lov in' it!
Alright. I'm goin back to re-decorating my room. Got some new art from Comic-Con that I need to put up. Not to mention, lots of new comics and stuff to read!! BYE!!!Y
