Now that Gundam 00 is over, I can compare it to Gundam Seed...
Artwork, opening and closing songs are better in Gundam 00 by a long shot. Overall excitement from the series was really good.
Background music and characters are better in Seed. Overall pace of the show was much slower than 00, though.
As far as the endings go, I thought Seed was good while 00's left something to be desired.
If you have the time, watch both. :D
