Ok so I've been looking for a new major the last couple of days and I wanted to share my thoughts so far, and see if anyone has any comments on any of it.
Zoology: Ambitious major for me and I wouldn't end up completing it for several years. The evolution specialization of it sounded interesting so I included it. Still, it's not one of my higher ranked choices.
International Studies: The work I've done so far puts me on the right track for this major and I'll admit it has some aspects that sound interesting, but the study abroad part leaves me uneasy.
Journalism: I bitch every time I have to write something, but if I'm writing about the right subject I can write very well and really get into it. However, there are somethings I can't write worth shit about.
Communications: One of my higher choices. There are several aspects of this major that greatly interest me, but I'm not sure what I could use the major for job wise.
Comparative Studies: My current top choice. I've got some of the courses for this done already and I really like parts of this major. Just like Communications though, I'm not sure what job this could get me.
Political Science: I've had a strong interest in the inner workings of politics for a long time now, but I'm not sure if I can keep that interest through the whole major, and I'm not sure if this major is really what I want to do with my life yet.
Any feedback on what I've got so far or suggestions for other majors that might work for me will be greatly appreciated.
