Dorney park, Eco 146, life.

Hmmm. actually did a few things over the past few days, so here goes.

Monday - Saw the descent with lindsey. I'm not a huge fan of horror movies, so i'm probably not a good judge... but i thought this one was pretty bad. The scariest part was in the begining with the claustrophobic camera angles and situations... The most graphic part was a compound fracture... not the numerous ways of killing creatures, gouging eyes out, etc. Also, as a note to realism... If you get 4-3 inch blade stabbed into your neck near the center, you are dead. If you were lucky, and if you were on the ER operating table when it happened, you might make it. However you certainly can't lay there for 10 minutes, and at the end still be able to talk. Take your pick... voice box, larynx, corrortid artery and jugular vein... all four of those are around there. I'm not for certain, but the pick may have come out the back of her neck as well... in which case she also severed part of her spinal cord. Damn resiliant if you ask me.

Tuesday - Got up earlyish to drive my sister and friends to Dorney park... oh joy of joys. It wasn't as bad as i expected, and it had rained early in the morning, so the park was pretty empty around 10:30 when we got there...managed to go on the talon, hydra and steel force (x2) within 90 minutes. I got sick after that (more of a headache) from all the twists and turns that the first two especially make you go through. First 30-60 seconds of the hydra is cool though - you go upside down a few seconds after you launch, so you're only going 10-15 mph. The first hill is fun as always... but it goes downhill from there (haha). Also managed to not get a tan, despite standing in the sun without sunscreen for about an hour while waiting for a water ride. I put sunscreen on after that and was out in the water for another 2 or so hours, and still nothing... at least i didn't get burned anywhere really. Also, one of the kids there was an avid smash bros player... and by far the best i've come across. He beat me handily every time, never losing more than 2 out of 5 lives... and with multiple characters (peach, gannondorf, zelda/shiek).

Wednesday - Mother's b-day, so we're going over to her house... also went to the orthodontist to get my wisdom teeth looked at. Tenatively they're coming out over thanksgiving break, though i'm still debating if i want be put under (extra 400$)... anyone who's had it done before feel free to comment.

Also got my Eco 146 grade back... it was an A, which i was hoping for, which is the 2nd one i've gotten (the first being english 1)... alright, now you can kill me katy. Still have below a 3.0, but its now a 2.95 from a 2.90 after first session.
