I just had an interesting conversation with the Jehovah's witness who came to the door:
(after talking about babylon-related prophesies)
J: can you imagine America falling in a single day like that?
Me: I can hope.
J: Yes, that would be nice wouldn't it?
a bit later he quoted from the bible:
"... and Jehovah will ruin the people who are trying to ruin the Earth ..."
as evidence that environmentalists have something to look forward to.
are they normally this awesome?
I know they get a bad rap for all the annoying evangelism, but I've always thought if you honestly believe you know the only effective way to avoid eternal damnation (or whatever), it's pretty much a dick move not to try to tell everybody else about it...
