Nice Ramblingsage
Okay I had better jot this down lest I forget about what actually went down myself!
Did I have a plan before setting out? Ha! Obviously you don't know me then, I'm so random it's borderline insane, all I had was a car and a hotel for one night. Hey what more do you need to prepare properly for a trip?
Well, okay there was somewhat of a plan, a plan consisting of multiple plans that might see the light of day and, sadly for one part, they all, of course, didn't see that very light. The idea was to go to a) Nice b)Mara c)my sis in Spain d)back to the Dam halfway through for an exam. The exact order in which these things were going to take place was at all up in the air. I'm just going with the flow.
First half was going to be Nice maybe followed by Spain, so I booked a hotel for one night and the rest would work itself out. I rented a car, but the planned individual I am, of course, only booked it the wednesday prior to the thursday I was leaving. After oversleeping I picked it up, turned out that the class I rented wasn't available due to such short notice so they gave me a bigass estate O_O. I wasn't complaining, I mean a brother needs his space!
So I jiffed back home, threw my stuff in the car and left for Nice! I've driven that road so many time I could do it with my eyes closed, got in Nice 12 hours later about midnight. I had planned a dinner date with Rhona, who was also visiting Nice, but midnight was a bit too late so instead I went to the pub to meet up with Ellie and Katie. I checked in at the hotel and went on my merry way.
Man, I was O_o about what it'd be like to be back, but zomg it truly felt like I only left yesterday. It's truly 'going home.' Loads of alcohol and encounters with peeps I hadn't seen for a while ensued. I decided that going to Spain would be retarded. I had to go back to the Dam monday in order to be able to study tuesday for the exam on wednesday. Still following? I got in Nice thursday, getting to Sevilla would take another day, getting back from Sevilla to the Dam almost 2; it'd be a waste of money and time to be there for 2 days. So I decided to stay in Nice
What then happened will be part 2, I actually gotta do some work now o_x
