California here I am

I've made it to San Francisco safe and sound, but with limited internet access for a bit. I'm liking being here, but also homesick. Fortunitly, I planned for homesick time and have a fairly chill week ahead of me, thanks to R's willingness to hoast me for a bit before school starts. Anyone have sugestions for cool (and cheep) places to go in the

Ted says that if you can get access to a car, Point Reyes National Park is very cool. There's also Muir Woods and Muir Beach which are a little closer but you still need to have a car to get there. Apparently the Golden Gate Park is pretty cool (and free, although some things within it are not free).
