Happyness Happyness
So, this summer in general, and the last week or so have been very good to me.
I've had the summer off before starting gradschool in Early Childhood Education this fall. Thank you Mom. It's been spectacular to recharge my batteries. Doing this in DC has given me time to catch up with my DC crew some (though not near enough, and I still haven't gotten around to seeing some folks I'd very much like to...)
The past week or so has included my first time at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. I am so greatful that J got me to go, and that I met some amazing people and had a spectacular time. It's definitly on my list for figuring out how to get there next summer. (Granted, figuring out where in the world I will be might come first...) I've also gotten the chance to see lots of folks on a way to quick tour of the east coast. (I've spent each night but one in a different bed all week.... a trend that will continue til the end of the weekend.)
All this is a great way to end up the summer, as I move to Oakland two weeks from yesterday. New adventures, I am headed your way...
