i ended up working on v-day, which was moe than likely a wise decision. Afterall, a certain man is a bit ill at this time, and i made some decent money, however stressful the evening had been.
to start with, we were staffed in everyway possible (host, server, cook) like a normal monday. we got our asses handed to us, as if it were a friday night. and then some. people were on a 20 minute wait, and once they sat, it was taking 45 minutes for food to come out. 45 fucking minutes. none of my tables actually left and most were being very patient. but my god.
also...we only had three decent servers on. becky (my co-CT), myself and cindy. my section was bunk, because it included a table under a cold air vent that no one likes to be under, so rarely gets sat, and a booth that had a leaky ceiling.
so, out of six tables i really only had four. becky was training that night therefore slowing her down a bit. so out of three decent servers only one was operating completely.
soooooo. basically my v-day is postponed for a later date which i am in complete support of. it makes a bit less commercial and thoughtless, and more personal.
ALSO.
i ended up working for elare last night. and being that tuesdays are my only days off.....this is one hell-a-long work week. i did pretty well last night also.
after work i picked nikki up, hit up javas for some good brew, and headed back to her place. emily and j-o were there...the four of us tried to talk to becky on speaker phone, but it was a failed attempt. e, j-o and i ended up goign over to pittsford weggies, old school style and walked around asuing ourselves until j-o finaly found his wasabi peas and i my hair product.
(i ran out a few days ago, and have been trying to use other products, and samples i have around, none of which do what i am used to my paste doing.)
and since this has to be the most amazing, and interesting entry ever written on good ol LJ, i don;t have to, nor will i thank you for your time...you being informed on my life should be reward enough.
