this semester is begining to get boring - fast.
last week a random "guest" as we are told to call them at work, asked me out. i could see hi working himsefl up inside to actually ask.
i told him the truth of not being "free"* to date and therefor declined
he was embarrassed
he apologized for embarasing me
i said i was not embarrased, but flattered and thanked him anyhow.
i am getting a "promotion" at work - YAY BETTER MONIES!
today - i finished wrapping becky's birthday care package. now i just have to grab a few things from emily that she wanted to add, and my moms gift for her.
(when i lived at my mom's house, my sister and i would have parties whenever shewas gone for the weekend with david. Becky used to always BEG me to let her to take a shot of martha's bailey's irish cream. I never let her for fear i'd feel mar mar's wrath....A few weeks ago, while out to breakfast with martha i told her this story, and she laughed, saying becky could have chugged the whole thing and she wouldn;t have cared...so she decided to buy becky a small bottle of ehr own bailey's for her b-day.....)
then it's off to the post office to fainlly mail this box'o junk.
lost of goodies a few burned mixed cd's, some cards, joke gifts ya know...avg shiznit.
emily is beautiful.
i can see her wings a little, even if they are quite pale.
i was doing some internet research today i the ELC (electronic learning center for all of you whom do not speak MCC) and came across some lovely historic meaning for the image i am thining of making permenant on my skin....

i have this wonderful idea for a "painting" of sorts for a certain dear friend of mine, whom i've owed a piece of work to for a long while.
i am pleased with the drafts floating on the sidelines of my spiral notebooks - usually in psychology - they are forming, direction.
p.s. - my step mother's eggplant parm is very good. although i don;t have much to compare it to, i feel though that it is very chain restarauntish...like olive gardeny, er something. but good nontheless.
