Update!

So remember this post?..."I was thinking about the life of my love for The Devil Wears Prada. It started out back in January or February of 2007 when I found out the local band I liked, A Fate Worth Fighting, would be playing with TDWP at a local venue that I often went to on March 24th. I hadn't really heard of them but I figured I should check them out. I remember being in the one place we hung out after school and having my one friend play "Dogs Can Grow Bears All Over"...I think that was the first time I heard them. This friend had a sticker of them on her purse so I asked her if I could borrow the CD since I knew she had it. On March 6th or 7th I ripped the CD to my computer and started learning the songs. I also remember the first time my mom heard them...I was going to PNC bank and I sat in the car listening while she was in the building. She came out and heard it and seemed to not like them much. By the time the concert came, I knew about 5 songs from the album and the beginnings of the others. At the concert I was in heaven (not meant to be a pun but it is). They were awesome live, even though my one friend didn't like them then. I continued to listen to them throughout the summer and when I was on vacation. (I was learning Texas Is South when I drove through Texas hahaha.) When Plagues was released I didn't go out to buy it at first, I was kind of scared they would sound different. When I finally did buy it in September I was amazed at how well it was. I was upset when "Hey John, What's Your Name Again" was being played on MTV2. I don't like when band I love get popular but I dealt with it. It wasn't until about December that I realized I was obsessed with them. I was looking on the Warped Tour site sometime in early 2008 and saw that TDWP would be playing. Knowing my luck I figured they wouldn't play at my stop but then I noticed it said they were playing the whole tour. I was super excited because I knew I was definitely allowed to go. They recently released "HTML Rulez D00d" and are still getting popular (which I'm still grrrr about). Now that Warped is two days away I'm getting really nervous. I want to stay for their whole set but there's so many bands I want pics of that there's almost no way I can. I'm going to try really hard though. Hurley Stage, HERE I COME!"

That was over a year ago so I'm going to update it.

I saw them at Warped that year and had an amazing time. When I was waiting in line to meet them, a freak storm came so I didn't get to (so mad!). I bought the re-release of Plagues since then and I now own 8 TDWP shirts. :D I bought With Roots Above and Branches Below (got it early) and I love it. I listen to it so much, my mom knows all the music and taps to the beat (especially the one part in Big Wiggly Style). I got to see them this year at Warped, too. Once again, amazing. Finally got to meet them and stalk them (hehe, in a non creepy way). I joined their fan community and that's pretty much it. The end. :DDD

Update(April 28th 2010):
I saw them on December 21st at Croc Rock and it was amazing! I've never had so much fun in my life. Afterward, my friend and I went out to the buses and I got to get pictures with Mike, Daniel, Andy, and Jeremy. It was awesomeeee. I made a new friend, Jake, because of them and we used to talk all the time about them. I want to see them at Bamboozle but I can't get there and I don't want to spend 60 dollars on a ticket. They won't be playing Warped this year but they are playing Croc Rock again on August 27th. MUST GO! Can't wait for the new EP coming out soon. I now have I think 12 or 13 TDWP shirts, a hoodie, and a pair of shorts.
