Holidays :D
It's hoooooolidays. YAY! ^0^
Winter holidays though =( While the vast majority of the human population enjoys warmth and sun and a long break, we're sitting here shivering xD All the way down here, in the middle of nowhere, cut off from other countries.
Have I ever told you how much it sucks living in Australia sometimes?? Well I'm telling you now. Ever since I realised that Londoners go to France on school trips, or how effing HUGE Australia really is, and how empty. You should have seen my host family's reaction when I told them it takes 30 hours to get from Melbourne to the centre of Australia by bus! xDD
Like, I can't even imagine how awesome it would be to live in Europe. "Hey kids, let's take the car and go for a holiday!" "Yay! Daddy daddy, I want to go to Spain!" D8 What is that!!?? If mum were to say that, we could be driving just as long as Europeans do and we wouldn't even be out of the STATE, let alone a different COUNTRY, with different languages, people and culture. -_- Sucks so much.
Perhaps that's why we're becoming more and more intolerant nowadays, even though we're such a new country that no-one's actually Australian anyways. Except for the Aborigines of course, but the way they're treated you wouldn't guess they're the Australians. It makes me ashamed of having to represent such a country where the native peoples are hardly even seen, and when they are they're often drunk or homeless on the streets. u_u It's still very much us and them, like there's white communities and Aboriginal communities, which you find more in the centre of Australia I guess. And only this year, after a much needed change of government, have we apologised for the Stolen Generation which went on for about 80 years, and are actually planning to do something about the appaling way we still treat Aborigines. So glad we got rid of the old Prime Minister though, coz he was the one that was turning us all into flag-wielding xenophobes.
Ok...lol sorry, don't know where that came from. I must be more passionate about this than I thought @_@ Anyways, in a nutshell Australia sucks to live in because it's far away from everything, we treat our native people horribly and we're going a bit panicky coz we don't really have a culture and Madonna didn't come here on her world tour. End rant. XD
To other news, I bought my formal dress!! =3 It's black, silk and sits somewhere just above the knee. It has these kind of flowery decorations and it's gathered at the bottom, which makes me look a bit like a flowery black marshmallow xDD And yeah you're probably getting a completely different image from my description, so you'll just have to wait 'till I post pics up of it from the formal. Which is about a month away, but I'm sure you can hold off your excitement until then xP Gosh, I'm in a weird mood~ *realises it's 2:30am* And that would be why. X3
Found such funny things on the internet today ^0^ Like a translation of Duet's YY club from konbini, which ended with them fighting over Yamachan again XDD Oh man I love it.
And Your Seed is out!! i really like this song, it's more edgy and cool than their other songs. Dreams Come True made me want to wave my hands and head from side to side in time with the tune, and Your Seed makes me want to groove around xD Hope it has the same effect on HSJ... hmm this pv should be interesting... -whacked-
Fanfiction and Crack subs too! Gosh tonight's been a really good night, in terms of things actually happening. Usually I just kind of sit there until an ungodly hour before realising I haven't done anything...oh the evil drawing-in power of the internet #o# But yeah, Crack subs were funny, except they were dirty. People! They're only teenagers! Not that I'm in any position to comment, uchaghem. And the fanfiction, LOL at VampireStalkerYamada! XDD Why is he so attractive as a vampire? D: Plus it's a multi-chaptered fic. Should I be worried? I'm not worried. ^^;
Well maybe I'm worried a teensey bit, because all this talk about vampires makes me think of Yamada's neck, and I've got this weird love for his neck. It all started with that picture from the HSJ calendar where he's up the tree...it's late and I couldn't be bothered uploading it, sorry about that. But since it's a kind of headshot of him and it's rather big I could really see it in detail. Then I realised i'd been staring at his neck for a LONG time XD And ever since then it's been love. I can't help it! It's got this cute random freckle and it's so asian-y and...yummy looking. Seriously, I would turn vampire for Yamada. XDDDD
One last thing before I go, I found this short vid on youtube from the OPG days, where Yamada's talking about his dog Kuu ^-^ From what I picked up- and I may be totally wrong- was that his little toy poodle ran up to him and sat on his lap *sighs* I can't believe I'm jealous of a dog AGAIN! and was shaking, so he thought it was scared. Turns out when he picked it up it had pooed on him xD Wahaha~
