Doctor Who ♥ I adore it, and have since I was 13. I really love the Doctor's character, the time travel and the show's immeasurable charm, as well as the way it plays to people's fantasies of running away from it all to explore new lands and have exciting adventures. It also has my favourite scriptwriter as head writer for it right now, and it shows because the latest series (to me anyway) was frickin' amazing. I may also have a poster of it on my wardrobe :P I'm a fan and I'm proud
Anyway, bed time for me. I've been distracted writing this post from watching the updates for Cyclone Yasi, set to hit Queensland in about an hour. Really frightening stuff- the cyclone itself is about the size of North America, which I'm sort of having trouble fathoming. Meanwhile, at the bottom of Australia, the air is still while I'm reminiscing about my time on holiday six months ago in exactly the places where it will be worst-affected. So strange. I wish them all the best.
