Hiya peeps. :D
I haven't been around in ages, and I was almost finished with this post but then I got interrupted by something that has slipped my mind for the moment... anyway! My first week of uni was very overwhelming and I'm not sure if I liked it all that much. I'll get used to it though. ^^
I won't go too much into uni for fear of boring you all, except to say that it's potentially wonderful and potentially very lonely- clubs are very very important. :| I auditioned for the student theatre play on wednesday x3 AND BEGINNER'S FRENCH IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. In our first hour of French, we learnt greetings, numbers, days of the week and a/an/some. IN ONE HOUR. And everything but the lectures are done largely in French, so most of us just sit there and go 8| while the teacher babbles on xD; Talk about intensive, geeze.
Soo yes, I'm not sure how much I'll be on for the next few days, what with uni and my sister coming home for 10 days and sd,kfjgd. I'm still trying to get into the swing of things so bear with me -_-; But without further ado! Here, have 50 random facts about me. :D
1. My full name is Madalyn Sarah McCandless.
2. You can blame my dad for the weird spelling of my name. "It'll be easier to spell!" = famous last words. xD;
3. Talking about dad, I have this mole thing underneath my left knee, and so does my dad in exactly the same spot. We call it 'the mark of the second born' /cue spooky music/ XD
4. I am the second born of the second born of the seventh born of the seventh born. 8D
5. My dad was born in Ireland, and his family moved to Australia when he was 5. My mum was born here- her side of the family have been here since the 1800s (that's a long time for here xD) because my great great something was an explorer. Ooo exciting.
6. My parents separated when I was 7.
7. I wasn't born head first. I don't wanna go into details about what came first... XD /dies/
8. I never crawled, just did this weird sort of...bum shuffle.
9. Because of that I didn't start walking until I was almost 2.
10. I have flat feet.

12. I've never been in a relationship and have not yet had my first kiss. (Dun dun dunnnn!)
13. My house sits between a freeway and power lines. Ahh, feel the serenity~ xDD
14. Inuyasha got me into Jpop (V6 ftw...yeahh XD)
15. I value my friends on here very highly. Honestly, I think you're some of the most awesome people I've ever met. Quite often I like you more than my rl friends tbh. :| I hope that doesn't sound sad.. I just feel so blessed to know you all ♥
16. Before my obsession with Japan, I was extremely into Doctor Who. It's been my favourite show since it first returned in 2005, when I was 13 :'D
17. I wanted to be an actor for the longest time- only at around 15, after I went to Japan for the first time, did I decide to do something with Japanese and languages instead. Though I don't act as often now, it's still my passion and I miss it when I don't do it. Part of me still yearns to be an actor.
18. I can do good impressions of people, if I may say so myself. xD /shot/
19. Truth be told, I'd say I'm bi. I used to be straight, but now I literally have no idea what attracts me anymore. I'm sick of stressing about it, so I'm just going to let whatever happens happen. And I've told only one of my rl friends about that (because he came out to me), so consider yourselves special. :| ♥♥
20. I'm a scaredy cat. Sometimes I'm still sorta scared of the dark |D;
21. I've played piano since I was 7, and am in grade 7. But I've stopped exams now and just play for fun. Currently learning Hallelujah as well as singing along to it~ ♥ (it's hard xD)
22. I had the smart, goody-goody girl image in school. People would sometimes stop doing something bad if I looked over at them, and if they heard me swear they'd go into shock. I don't know how I managed to get that image, but I did. xD
23. I went through my gothy/emo stage at around 12/13. I was into Evanescence and The Matrix, and my last year of primary school- as well as family matters at the time- were making me turn all 'emo.' Fun times!
24. I had a friend in primary school with Asperger's Syndrome, who I felt compelled (and often almost threatened, by her mother) to be friends with. It's not her fault, of course, but she pretty much ruined my general happiness at primary school, and influenced my personality quite a lot. I had to be her mother, and as nobody else would be friends with her, I became 'that weirdo who hangs out with her.' It got to me, but I could never bring myself to cut ties with her, even now. I am too nice, and I don't say that in a complimentary way.
25. I have a bin with a frog head as the lid in my room. 8D;
26. I'm an introvert. I much prefer a few really close friends than heaps of friends.
27. I absolutely adoreeeeeeee my cat. I'm a cat person, though owning a dog has made me love dogs so much more. ♥
28. When I was 3, I made a whole piano recital audience return to the performance room so that I could play them my own pieces- namely, Ballerinas and Mens (often interchanged with Sheepies and Lambies) and Lovers Die. Ballerinas and Mens was basically bashing on the piano for an extremely long time, and Lovers Die was much more subdued and sad. It's a kind of epic family video. XD
29. I was extremely shy in kindergarten, mouthing words to my teachers instead of speaking. They thought there was something wrong with me, orz. ;;
30. I played Violin for one year back at the start of high school.
31. I'm kinda OCD when it comes to eating- I tend to eat things one at a time, for example I'll eat the carrots, then the potato, then the meat, that sort of thing. xD
32. I eat really slowly, and always have.
33. I am terrible at riding a bike.
34. I used to be a bookworm.
35. Chocolates over lollies, mkay. xD
36. Brussel Sprouts make me gag. Oh GOD I hate them. o__o
37. Being a mother is one of the only things I am certain I want to do.
38. Sometimes, I'm embarrassed by my rl friends. They can seem quite sheltered at times. :\
39. I love Red Bean. Like omg, it's way up there with my favourite foods.
40. I'm a bit of a tea junkie. Earl Grey all the way, babay. 8D;
41. When I was around 11/12, I used to think I could see ghosts. I don't see them anymore though. :D"

48. I would love to go to London, California and South Korea. Though I would be happy to anywhere cause travelling is awesome ♥
