What I did today.

(I thought today was pretty interesting. Hopefully you do too. Otherwise, this doesn't really matter. Oh well.)

Haha. Starting out with last night. I went to 22North to have a martini with Miami and Katie, and some of their friends. It was really fun, I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while, and be goofy and smiley. After that, I went to Richard's, and everyone was drinking and playing beerpong, so I just hung out...wasn't up for drinking more, really. Went to 22 to enjoy the company and a single drink. Anyway, came home a little before 12, and went to bed. Went to work this morning (I really do like it so far) and that was pretty uneventful. I was a "floater" so I was going back and forth between the two dining rooms all morning. Some soccer guys came in...they were hot. More physically attractive than the Scottish boys yesterday, but the Scottish boys had those accents...mmm...hehe. Annyway. One of the other bussers there drives me nuts already. She's so goofy and whiney at the same time...she complains a lot. I'm not really one to talk, I know I complain a good deal too. But I dunno. It bugs me. Got my tip money and left for home. Got home, couldn't find my tip money. Went BACK to work, and luckily found it. Woohoo! Haha. It wasn't a whole lot, but dude...still the 2nd day I've gotten tipped out. $4/hr isn't much, but it feels good to walk out with a nice thing of cash everyday. Hung out at the house for a while, enjoying the quiet stillness. Jme came over, and we decided to bike to the North End to see Miami. He was by himself, so we went to entertain him. Right next to his stand was Rick (grrr...) and his campers. I waved to Michelle, and that was cool...but I'm really glad I'm not working for the camp. I know he was super cheerful and enthusiastic for the kids, but it seemed like he was almost patronizing them. So Jme and I laid down in the hot sand, it felt soooo good. We made sand angels. hehe. It was so soft, and warm, and smooth. Tiny little grains. Not like the ones near the pier. Anyway...we were pretty sandy after a few minutes of laying there, sweaty. So we go running full-speed into the water...I'm completely dressed though, so was she, but she had on a bikini under her clothes. It was so fun. The water has gotten soooo lovely and warm. So we frolicked and wallowed (word of the day!) for a while. Got out and rode back to the house to dry off and change. Then we rode our bikes to Harris Teeter (grocery store). HAHAHA. We're freakin' idiots. We had to go over the drawbridge and across this huge intersection (no sidewalks...) to get there...took like 15 minutes. It was so great though. Exhilerating. We went all the way out there for a bottle of wine to drink with dinner. We spent 20 minutes in the wine aisles looking for cool labels (suckers of advertising, eh?). Got this stuff from Australia, and rode back home. After getting stickers that say "Kids say, THERE'S NO HOPE IN DOPE!" How awesome is that???? So we put them on the bikes, THEN rode home. haha. I made dinner really quick, and we drank a glass of wine (good choice) and Miami came over. We took him to get his truck, then she and I went to Walmart. We stood in the little boys' section trying on undershirts to find the right size to wear for work, haha. After WallyWorld, went home and dropped off that stuff, grabbed our notes and homework, and headed to Starbucks (here) for some study sessioning. Annnd that began AFTER a trip to Michael's for canvases and to Barnes & Noble for a book for CB. So we got here at about 8:45. They close in a bit, and I have maybe 3/4 page written. woooohoooo I SUCK! =D We're going back to the house and either watching some more Friends or a chick flick, and drinking the wine, even though we both have to work at 7 tomorrow morning. I think the best part of the day was swimming with my clothes on, and biking to the store. I'm back at summer camp, but it's a little different than last August's. There's a lil thing called work, and school, this time. But ferreal, like Jme said...if we're not working...it's a tropical vacation. I'm working Weds-Sunday this week...32 hours. Well...31. I left early yesterday. Time to wrap up, they're kicking us out. Adios!!!
