Cathrine (Faline) is in real life as adorable as she sounds over the phone (and I'm serious, everyone should get her to call them :winks:), and thanks to her I'm now the proud owner of a puzzle made by the Blacksmith in a National Park. It was so sweet, they just gave it to me! I've forgotten how to solve it (you've got to get the ring of the triangle), but it's still brilliant.
I've also been introduced to smoothies, Solo, hot chips and have a small branch of wattle (Australia's national flower), and I like sub urbs so much better than Sydney Central.
Had loads of fun, even if I, apparently, don't look like my photo (I dunno, I've never heard that before :laughs:), and could pass for an Irish accent. Personally, I think I just speak with a mixture of American, some British and some Irish (how that got in there, I dunno, but I'd catch myself at it, at times), and Dutch.
I'm now sitting in the Adelaide City Council, where you can get free internet. Woo hoo! I've now got the feeling I'm really in Australia. Maybe it's the hostel, which is really a hostel this time, and not something close to a hotel (the place we stayed in in Sydney was so brilliant! In comparison, where we are now is horrible. But, I'm pretty sure this is the average hostel.), maybe it's the 24 hour train ride (which wasn't so bad, actually. Even if I slept on the floor, because I really, really can't sleep sitting up.), en maybe it's because we're now only with the 2 of us, instead of 10.
