Awesome, not only are abusive ex-husbands considered "existing preconditions" but apparently being a victim of rape is as well
Why is the United States such a special snowflake that we need private insurance, again?
At least it looks like we're going to remove the anti-trust protection that insurance companies enjoy soon here.
**Author's note: While I do realize that emotional pleas are the wrong way to discuss the health care issue, sometimes a good healthy dose of outrage helps focus the discussion onto obvious weakpoints. This has lead to a liberterian I know to try and work out the issue of handling people who have long-term terminal conditions, outside of letting them become a tax burden, for example.
