Lebanon, China, and Pakistan...

So this week has been very BUSY and I am SEMI-stressed....just so much going on and winding up.

Not without fun though.
Monday: Mikey and Mo and I went to a Lebanese place---it was magnificent. And so was the bill. $95...yes I said...but it was worth it. We had some wine from the Bekaa Valley and the food was delicious. Then we went to a Jazz club that was also great...playing favorites like "Take Five" and "McArthur's Park" and some Frank Sinatra songs. Then got home and watched some Dave Chappelle. Overall...it was a really good night. So sad it is all ending.

Before I go on to the next day I must say that I am extremely dissapointed. Have you hear about the oil spill in Lebanon? ALL BECAUSE A GENERATOR OR SOMETHING WAS HIT AND NOW THE DAMAGE IS DONE FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS. RIDICULOUS and TOO HIGH of a price to pay for something so stupid. AH I am livid about this and you should be too. This is a ridiculous war...with ridiculous aims and ideals...I wish people that were in power could realize this. Instead they are content being idiots.

Onward....

Tuesday: Went with Remi and Kaihli to Chinatown. It was really fun as well. Authentic...but I did expect more people around. I wanted to be shoulder to shoulder in a messy, overwhelming Chinatown. However it was rather sparsely populated.

Wednesday: Work was stressful. Not because of work but because everyone is wanting to schedule lunches and dinners and it is hard to accomodate. I feel lucky that people want to dine with me but I can't keep up. Time constraints, etc. UGh. I wish I could pace these things! The M-ster left today...it was sad. The first too go. I feel like I am on the Real World or something haha. Then it got me thinking. In all honesty I am not looking forward to leaving. I really like it here...and I love hanging out with the people here. I miss my friends from home a ton...but at the same time I am really gonna miss the people that I met here...just like the people from the Italy trip. This has officially been the summer of New-People-That-Are-Great-But-That-You-Cannot-See-Often. ugh.

However, the night was awesome! We trained and bussed up to the Indo-Pak area and got Pakistani (mo, peter, and I). It was EXCELLENT FOOD. Can't wait to go back. The neighborhood was VIBRANT and I LOVED IT. I felt like I was in South Asia. It was great...and everyone there was Indian or Pakistani too. You need to go. NOW.

haha anyways....more stuff to do tomorrow. Have a great night folks.
