Yay, looks like they updated the 4th ed errata with the new stealth rules!

The bad news? Rogues are no longer ninjas. At least not till they get a few levels under their belt ;)

Superior cover or total concealment are needed now and you can't use other people for cover. Stealth is broken as soon as you break cover (kinda). There's still ways to get around all this, but it's no longer as simple as "I run out of cover and stab the guy in the kidney." He sees you. And he has got his kidney covered :(

While this is an overall stealth "nerf," it makes the Rogue at wills (Fleeting Ghost, Chameleon, Shadow Stride) much more important for a stealth build character. So if you want to use stealth for da sneak attacks at low levels, I recommend simply sticking to the shadows and plinking people from afar. Otherwise just run up for the flank. It's a lot less complicated to flank things XD

And now, I'm off to make a trickster rogue! Go go halfling that's impossible to hit ;D
