Is that a movie night I see?
Thinking about running another movie night this weekend, were thinking of doing it on either Friday or Saturday, were leaning more towards Saturday at the moment. We'll be basing it on the Asian invasion recently, movies that have been around for a while, you just need to know where to grab it. Which will be centered around the *cough* new movie Hero, ironic that it's new and we own a copy... Well it's new to our shores. Some of the movies were thinking about are...
Battle Royale- You know it, you love it, you can't get enough, or you've never seen it and would most likely kill your mother to do so.
Battle Royale 2- Can the sequal live up to the original?
Versus- Gunfights, Sword fights, Florentine Gun/Sword fights! Matrix style combat and... Zombies, zombies and MORE zombies!
Street Fighter- No not that video game bullshit, were talkin' Sonny Chiba street fighter which means... a more painful groin scene than Battle Royale?
Return of the Street Fighter- Sonny Chiba just fucking Rules.
Golgo 13- See above.
Azume- Directed by the same person who did Versus, said to be better, faster, and have a fight scene with over 200 people said to put Kill Bill to shame... can it?
Returner- Take Equalibrium and Star Wars, and mix them in a big pot of Japan......
Once upon a Time in China- One of Jet Lee's best, to hype up Hero before we see it.
