Clearly, this is a productive use of my time >.<

I have a paper due for Writing a week from today. Mi care says he doesn't want to hear me whine any more about having papers since I got an A and glowing comments from my prof on my last paper. [Esp. since it was mostly written en route to convention...shhhhh!]

But even so, I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hate writing papers. And this one the prompt was "write anything having to do with anything having to do with King Arthur". (>.<) (>.<) (>.<) Yuck yuck yuck!!

And thus I'm whining to whichever poor soul is reading this. =P I think I'd like to write on the birth of Merlin. But I'm not exactly sure what kind of argument to make about that. Annnnnnnnd I have a meeting with my professor in 40 minutes. And I'm totally unprepared. And it's not like she's going to be mad at me since she liked my last paper and (I think) knew I didn't start it even close to on time. But I really like her. And I don't want to disappoint her. Ugh. Guilt. Worst.feeling.ever.

Speaking of which, I turned in my hard-copy paper to my Adolescent Development prof yesterday. He gave me an extension and helped me and it's *still* crap? Ughhh. Oh well. He thanked me for coming to class on Thursday since he had expected many of us to cut out on account of break being in 20-something hours. "You undergrads sure did a great job of showing up!" I actually said, "what?" when he thanked me cuz I thought he meant, like, thanks for taking the course, or thanks for showing up to hand in my paper. That we all could have cut class on Thursday didn't even occur to me.

Anyway... I should try to throw a little more something together for this conference. Where I will ashamedly melt into the floor. Yay!

Also: Dining hall rice is gross. Even when they fry it and put kung pao sauce on it. How did I forget?
Also: My hair is *actually* long enough to french braid. Like, it doesn't fall right out. Standard braid's still iffy. But this is progress! And it make me happy.

Leaving now!
