*sigh*
I have a psych paper due next Thursday? When did it get this close to spring break. I feel like we've only just gotten back from winter break. I guess it's because Thanksgiving was so much farther into the semester...
And also I had a reason for writing this post but I forget what it was... so I'll ramble until it comes back to me =P
Last night we had a meeting in our dorm building about the new student center they're building. It sounds pretty awesome, although I'm still a little skeptical. They say the dining hall will have more seats than the three combined that it's replacing, so that's good. Also, it's supposed to have optical scanners for swipe in. Like, tap your card like you would on the T and then it reads your fingerprint or something. Dayyummmm... crazy fancy.
Then we were talking about what to do with the three dining halls and the café that will be closing. Suggestions included a mini fitness/yoga center, a small grocery, extra study space, and extra laundry space. By the time they convert any of the spaces, I'll probably be graduating, but maybe not. We'll see.
Hmmmm still not remembering...
Oh! I remember. It's a lame reason for a post, but that's ok. It turns out there's a significantly different strategy to eating grapefruit with a table knife rather than a paring knife. But it works, and I get my yummy fruit. That's what counts. ^_^
Also I really enjoy the reflectiveness of the dock on my mac. Like, right now I'm watching myself type upside down in it because I'm typing at the bottom of my Safari window, so it shows up in the dock.
Fools are easily entertained. Shut up.
Speaking of fools, last night at the meeting for the student center (to be abbreviated from here on out by me as ECSC), I thought I'd left my ID card in my room by accident because it wasn't in my pocket, so instead of going upstairs to get a book while there was a lull in action, I sat in a chair and took a nap. Then I participated in the meeting. Then I waited for my roommate to get back so she could swipe me in. Then I realized that I'd bought a soda from the vending machine with my ID card. Then I realized I was an idiot.
So I searched all the furniture, and the third time around that I looked in the couch where I'd eaten dinner (there was free [mediocre] Qdoba before the meeting), I found it. Then I felt really dumb. Mi care told me it might be a bad idea for me to have children and pass on all my absent-minded genes to the next generation. >_<
So... yeah. That was fun. Hope you enjoyed my rambling. I'm going to go make one more cup of tea before Latin class. Then... I don't know. I think I'm getting a cold. I'm so exhausted, except at 1 or 2 in the morning when I should be. It's not a good pattern. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
