Beginning Fanfic100
I really really want to do this. I have so many ideas floating around in my head, and I've always wanted to develop some fiction / creative writing skills. I used to write poetry and I don't much anymore. Frankly, I don't write much of anything anymore, even journaling. I know I say this a lot, but I'd really like to get back in that habit. I'm hoping that having something I'm excited about writing about and motivated to do will help me get back on track with all my writing, not just fanfic.
I feel like I should tell people I'm doing this, but I'm not sure what anyone would think. Lincoln would probably be amused / not care. House would laugh and probably be supportive. She wanted me to do NaNo, but 1) I couldn't think of a plot complex enough to sustain a novel and 2) it was November. Whose bright idea was it for NaNo to be in November? Even October would be better. Or, like, February or something. Although February's short. So March, then.
Anyway. I think as soon as I've actually written something and have it ready to post, I'll make these entries public and y'all can tell me what you think. And I'll actually tell people themselves.
I want to write off the word Hidden, but I'm not sure I want to use a Writer's Choice so early on. Then again, if it gets me going...
