Black pennies
Black is regrettable.
A step backward.
A sneaky whisper of unfinished business.
An open book lying on a desk,
pen poised but the pages are silent.
"Your hair is black and I worry."
Two Kingdoms, alike in dignity,
in Fair Verona where we lay our scene.
"It's a lot like Romeo and Juliet."
Well, that's kind of the point.
A bat pulled out his dictionary
and went to work, picking through it,
word by word.
Sometimes we have to swallow [the moon].
It doesn't matter what side it lands on,
so long as it's someone else's dime.
Trying to be aloof is tough. I miss my little raccoon.
